  • Time in the Aveyron
We had a very warm welcome and relaxing stay at the Moulin de Limayrac. The hosts couldn't do enough for us and provided us with a magnificent meal all home cooked using home grown products where they could. Very knowledgeable about the area too. They recommended some lovely restaurants which we went to as well. Room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated.

  • Wonderful Location and lovely hosts
We've just got back from Gordon and Guenaelle's wonderful bed and breakfast / chambers d'hote. Great location in the middle of the Aveyron region with a multitude of place to visit (Millau Bridge, gorge riverbanks, pretty villages aplenty and lakes with watersports on offer. Guenaelle is a fantastic cook and coped well with our gluten free and vegetarian requirements, and we ate with the hosts 8 nights out of 10. The hosts really could not do enough for us, and it was helpful for us that they were bilingual. We will definitely be back.

  • Just excellent!
Just excellent! If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful, cozy place to stay in Aveyron, don’t overlook this address!
Short distances to a lot of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, The Millau Viaduct, Rodez – you will always find what to do & what to enjoy.
Very clean rooms, tasty breakfasts, delicious dinners accompanied by a small talk (can be in English also what’s important for guests not speaking French) – just number One.
After 4 times visiting Le Moulin de Limayrac we’re planning to come back more times :-)
    THX Guénaëlle & Gordon!

  • High class B&B
I echo what the other reviewers have said. This barn has been converted to a high standard; there's a nice garden by the stream; the rooms are comfortable and well furnished; the dinners are lovely (using home-grown produce and local specialities) as well as good value and it's nice to chat with the hosts and other guests. It can be hard to find a twin room in B&Bs so it's worth noting that there are rooms with a mezzanine floor and extra beds. The Aveyron isn't that well known to English tourists but the peaceful, litter-free countryside is lovely and there are lots of historic villages to see.

  • Relaxing stay in a convivial atmosphere
Very enjoyable stay in one family room (4 beds) with a warm welcome from Guenaelle.
The bed room is charming, clean and cosy. (for very young kids need to be careful with the steep stairs).
Sharing the aperitif cocktail with other guests on the garden table (with some homemade ingredients) was a very convivial moment.
The Table d'hote (dinner) is a treat prepared with homegrown vegetables and local products, and so is the breakfast with homemade jams.

  • Such a Find !
We stayed for a week in their most beautiful B&B. We were greeted by Gordon immediately on our arrival. Guenaelle followed shortly afterwards as she was busy in her amazing garden when we arrived ( picking fresh vegetables to be used for supper). The location stunning, quiet and restful and whilst there was a little rain on a couple of days, it did not spoil our stay as we were either sung in the cottage or off visiting local towns.
Whilst our stay, we were able to sample some of her recipes - blackcurrant cordial for the winer months, jelly sweets, raspberry jam and chutney!
Gordon and Guenaelle were also on hand to help give advise on location attractions and restaurant. So grateful for such quality information.
We so long to go back... a truly relaxing location and property

  • Excellent stay with very welcoming hosts
We stayed here for 3 nights recently to attend a friends wedding nearby. We had an excellent stay, beautiful house with a lovely room for us. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast each morning was laid out on the table and was very nice, fresh bread and jams, cereal and coffee and juice. We had dinner with the hosts and other guests on our last night. It was one of the best meals we have eaten on our holiday, we started with drinks and nibbles outside in the garden before moving to the dining table inside. The homemade veal stew was amazing with fresh beans from the garden, one of the best stews I've ever eaten. We then had cheese and salads and a delicious homemade dessert then finished with coffee. The meal was excellent and would highly recommend booking dinner. Staying here was a great experience for us. Our stay here was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, highly recommend coming here for a relaxing holiday.

  • Beautiful house and welcoming hosts
We spent a couple of nights at Le Moulin de Limayrac and it was lovely. Both Gordon and Gwenaelle (hope it's the right spelling!) were very welcoming and forthcoming with information, and my husband is very grateful to Gordon for all his insider's tips on living in France as an Englishman, as it is something we are thinking about. Our evening meal was delicious, I was worried about eating meat as I have fragile teeth, but it was melt-in-the-mouth gorgeous. The dessert was heavenly! Our room was simple but decorated with a lot of taste, and the bed comfortable. Great breakfast with homemade jams. We also loved the library room!

  • Carole and Ron
We had a lovely stay at Le Moulin. Our bedroom was extremely clean, well furnished and comfortable with a lovely view of the garden. We had an evening meal with local produce, beautifully prepared for us (we are vegetarian).
Le Moulin is ideally located to visit the region, Belcastel is only a short drive away.
Ideal place to stay for a quiet retreat, visiting the region and sampling the lovely food on offer.
