Charming chambre d'hôtes and gîte in the Aveyron

Guénaëlle and Gordon welcome you to our B&B, the Moulin de Limayrac. Built in the 19th century and set in the beautiful Aveyron countryside it is a relaxing and charming place to stay. The Moulin offers you the choice of 1 double and 3 family bedrooms each with private shower rooms located in the renovated old barn which is traditionally built from local stone and timber and set in 2.5 acres. We are also pleased to offer our guests the opportunity to stay with us for dinner and enjoy the very best of local and French cuisine.

Inside and out, reading in the library or watching the trout in the stream, you will find the Moulin de Limayrac a perfect place to relax. Its tranquil setting, lined with trees and overlooked only by sloping green fields has been unchanged for generations.

Guests enjoy the exclusive use of the library with its wood burner and the spacious ground floor living/dining room and outside terrace overlooking the stream.

The Moulin de Limayrac is just 20 minutes drive from the ancient city of Rodez and 30 minutes from its airport. Situated in the heart of the Ségala region, it is an ideal location to explore and discover this beautiful unspoilt part of France: mountains, rivers and ancient stone villages are all close by.

Here are some possible days out:

* Villefranche de Rouergue and Najac, one of France's 'Most Beautiful Villages'

* Conques and Marcillac

* Bozouls and the Lot valley

* Rodez and its museums (Soulages and Fenaille)

* Albi, UNESCO 2010 World Heritage site and Toulouse-Lautrec

* The Millau bridge and the Roquefort country

* Laguiole and the Aubrac
